I think it's hit or miss here. Some entrees were tasty (Mediterranean Mix Salad), while others were totally bland (Meat Pie). We ordered about 6 different items; nothing blew us away that would want us to go back any time soon. (a bit pricey, for the quality!)

I don't get to the farmer's market often but my reason for going is always to get my fix of spanakopita and a fresh gyro at Foods of the Mediterranean. Everything is fresh and well made and the service is efficient and friendly. The option to eat there is great but I always take my goodies home to enjoy.

Huge variety of offereings! My favorites - chicken wraps, lentil soup, cold salads. They offer a smoked salmon dip that is just heavenly! Remember to get a bag of pitas to go with it!

Not only can you go to Foods of the Mediterranean at the Allentown Farmers Market to get great gyros, but you can also purchase the makings of the gyro and then make at home! We like to make our version of gyro nachos. We take the pitas, cut them into smaller pieces, then spread oil on them and bake. Then... More

I was disappointed in the salads I got at this Farmers Market Store. The Tabbouli was disappointing. The tomatoes were pale in color and had no flavor, the ratio of parsley was not right and there were a lot of large stems in this salad as well. There was not enough lemon juice either. The grape leaves were awful as... More

Very good Mediterranean food especially for vegetarians and vegans. Good selection and prices. The staff was kind and allowed us to try over seven items before deciding on the six we bought! They have a five small contains for nine dollars so you can sample several items at home.

This unassuming restaurant is part of the Allentown Farmer's Market. A great place that serves fresh Mediterranean food with many vegetarian specialities. Order at the counter and you come away with a feast. The babaganoush is fresh and smoky, and tastes like it was just made. The restaurant has several versions of spanakopita from traditional with filo to ones more... More

I've been here a few times when I have visited the Farmer's Market, and the food is wonderful! Besides the appetizers, sandwiches, and platters, there is a dizzying array of side salads and dips to choose from. Last time I was there, I ordered a mezze platter, which is a combo of 5 different sides, served with pita. I had... More
