This restaurant is known for it's ice cream, but I think their food is very good; & seems like much of it is homemade. I love the turkey dinner (real turkey pieces) with potato stuffing & they always offer fresh veggies. Their specials are always delicious. My husband's favorite is shepherd's pie & hot bacon salad! We usually take his... More

Stopped for lunch today, had a great tuna sandwich made with real mayo! I was a little disappointed that it was like 6.00 and just served with a pickle slice, but it was good. Finished lunch with a Dusty Road Sundae, very tasty!

Visited 3 days in May with several friends. Good variety menu with daily specials. Soups and barbeque sandwiches are excellent. Very casual atmosphere with friendly waitresses. Low prices.

There is something appealing about the Ritz barbecue that's hard to put your finger on. Maybe the fact that it's been delivering the same great tasting food for many years, and the decor inside has remained the same. The food here is simple, homey, like mom or grandmom used to make. Nothing fancy, nothing showy, simply simple foods including several... More

Traditional barbecue and dinner-style restaurant that specializes in lunch barbecue pork, turkey, and beef. Though the menu is varied I've only had the the barbecue. It is quite a different type of barbecue than what some might expect. It is a tradition here and has been the same for years. It is a dry style and served with sauce and... More

Looking around the dining room at lunch, I'm tempted to conclude that many of the people who come to the Ritz do so from nostalgia. Growing up in Allentown, the Ritz was part of the life of my family -- and the families of virtually all of my friends. It may have been the last place on earth where you... More
