When in the area for a medical appointment we have sometimes stop into Trivet. We have not been here for about a year. I have always enjoyed the food and prices. Today, unfortunately was a different story. I had taken my mom to a doctors appt in the area and visited here after at around 11:30am. Upon arriving, I noticed... More

The Trivet Diner is a great place to eat any time of the day or night. It is located close to The Allenwood Motel which is a great old Mom and Pop motel. The Allenwood Motel is dog friendly. The Allenwood Motel has a very large area for the dogs to run and play in.

We stopped in for lunch -- a bit busy, but fast and attentive service. The menu can be daunting - almost too many choices, but the three of us were happy with ours. Hamburger (huge!) The only downside for me was that an omelet did not come with hashbrowns or fries, that was a $2.00 extra (booooo). It's a bit... More

Stopped at this attractive diner near Allentown, PA mid-afternoon. Diner was busy but not crowded at this time of day. My wife and I were seated promptly. Surprisingly the dining room was not too hot or cold which is frequently the case. We ordered off the senior menu which was varied and a good value. The rest of menu is... More

We stopped in at the Trivet when visiting some friends who live in the area. There were lots of menu choices and it was possible to mix and match items to create whatever breakfast you wanted. Typical diner food and service. I would go back again if in the area.

The Trivet was one of the victors of the "Chrome Wars" that occurred a decade or two ago, when local diners seemed to be competing to see who could have the shiniest exterior. The Trivet gleams in the sun like King' Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem did 3,000 years ago. The interior is a bit more subdued, but it's clean and... More

When we drive into PA, we have found that the Trivet restaurant is a great stop on the way. Every time we are there the service is the best, the meals are always great, and the place is as clean as any restaurant we've ever been in. Never have we been disappointed. Today's visit was no surprise. Great burger, wonderful... More

This places runs hot and cold, and rarely hits a home run. My meal yesterday were barely passable crab cakes! The vegetable barley soup was iffy. The cole slaw and onion rings were good . Service is middlin'. Last resort

The food was good, portions were plenty but not excessively large. Waitress was busy but did a job. Prices were average for a diner. Plenty of choices on the menu. Very clean restrooms. We had a good experience.

We went there on a Saturday evening and wasn't to busy. We sat down for several minutes before our server came , I am pretty sure she was pretty new. We ordered and the food came within a reasonable time and was really good. Did not get drink refills, but overall it was good
