Maybe the best burger I've ever had, and I don't have to do the dishes. Fantastic place!!! In town for a concert and stumbled across this gem. You won't be disappointed.

One of our go to spots. Burgers are normally fantastic and the mushroom soup is usually delicious. Tonight the burger was dry and overcooked and the mushroom soup was way too salty. Service was very slow and our server didn't seem to care about us...More
Hubby & I have been going here for 12 years since moving nearby. I had an old newspaper clipping about their burgers. They rock! Beef stew ( menu special) is sooo good.i enjoy the fish & chips which is what I usually get. Drinks are...More

This is a tired tavern with at best average food although if you're looking for large portions this is your place. Service is ok and if you're lucky you can get a window view.

I am starting to make a habit of going to McCloskey's on Monday nights for the music. Great sort of open mic for jazz musicians and vocalists of all ages and a spot for locals to hang. Wine and beer reasonably priced, the hummus appetizer...More
McCloskey's is not only a great restaurant with great food but the bar is fun and the people are welcoming. It's the oldest Irish bar on the Mainline and it's definitely a neighborhood gem.
