I don’t see what the hype is all about. It’s not that great. In fact downtown aiken as a whole is not that great.

We were walking around checking out the shops and it started pouring. We ran inside and sat at the bar to wait out the rain. The bartender let us sample some beer and made recommendations. We had a few drinks and some appetizers. Very enjoyable.

We love to try their different beers. The place is always busy. I find their pub food good enough to go with their beers.
Second time in as many visits to Aiken that we enjoyed lunch at Aiken Brewing. It is pleasant to sit outside and watch the world go by in true southern style (slow pace) while enjoying a brew and good lunch.
