Don't miss this place for lunch or dinner when you visit Aiken, SC. Great burgers, sandwiches and fried foods. If you like beer this is a place for you. We there after a gold outing and enjoyed the meal and casual atmosphere.
The food is definitely pub. We had an assortment of good hamburgers to pasta. I don't happen to drink beer, but my friends specifically like to come here for it. If you want to really visit with friends or family, I would suggest you be seated either outside or upstairs. It can be very loud in the main part of... More
Good and changing choice of home crafted beers. Their IPA, (when it's on) is my favourite and I usually get a Growler to take away. Food is normal bar food but is popular for riders (Aiken is very popular in winter time for the "snowbirds" who have fled the rigours on the northern winter) and their supporters who want a... More
Great pub atmosphere in downtown Aiken. Go for the beer (Thoroughbred Red was great) but the ribs did not live up to their description! Ribs were rubbery and definitely not "fall off the bone". If you are looking for an ever changing selection of local good brews, this is definitely where you want to be in the trendy downtown Aiken area. Always a good selection with friendly wait staff. They really give it a personal touch. The food is good pub food, nothing spectacular but honestly this place is all about brews. When visiting... More
the food was good but nothing extraordinary. one person in our group ordered a filet mignon and it was so tough that it was hard to cut. I have to say that the waitress took notice, without us saying anything about the meat and offered a full refund for that dinner. kudos to her!!
Great food, beer and service. Try the Big Tony or Mother Plucker. All the beers are great. Try the sampler if you want to try several.
