We loved the guacamole, enchiladas, everything. Great dinner. Fast and friendly service despite being overwhelmed by a large group arriving when we did.

This tiny restaurant, very busy and popular, offers great homemade Mexican food at very reasonable prices. We shared the Mexican plate (3 beef enchiladas, 2 tacos, rice, beans, salad) and were delighted.

They were quick to serve, food was good. It is a very popular place. Cash only. Clean but not elegant.

Definitely average Mexican food, but with not many options in Alpine it's probably one of the better choices. We were able to get meals we all wanted (with picky kiddos too), and the chips and salsa were good.

Queso is always good, but on a recent trip we stumbled across La Casita's house Queso. Oh my word! Cheese, beef, salsa and quacamole all together in utter deliciousness. A few days later I ordered more to go for a superbowl snack. It was just as amazing and a great portion. They are cash only and can get quite busy,... More

I made a reservation on a Monday, and walked down from the Maverick Hotel. Greeted by a couple of Guard Dogs who would have eaten me, but for the intervening fence...Arrived to find a crowd of 20 people assembled outside on the porch. The signage wasn't immediately apparent, and I thought I had stumbled on to a Clubhouse, instead. This... More

I've known the owner for many years and Tommy always delivers to please. Both price and quality of food is great, not to mention the affordability! You're in for a feast and never will you be disappointed. It's a very popular place to dine so I recommend reservations!

Salsa, guaco and enchiladas were dreamy! Small place where the locals go,great staff and great service. Salsa was delicious a tell tell sign of a good Mexican restaurant. Only cash is accepted FYI and totally worth it. A little off the beaten path but will return next time.

I think we might have been in an off night because I has heard good things about this place but was very disappointed. There was a long line so we waited only to find out they were out of several things. The food was good once it arrived. The staff was completely overwhelmed by the amount of people and was... More

This town really doesn't offer a lot in the way of inexpensive restaurants. I can't even remember how we found this one. It is in the residential area in a renovated house. Food was excellent and service really good considering that we got the last available table and there were only two waitresses.
