This place NEVER disappoints! I had the chicken/sour cream enchiladas. The sauce is rich and creamy with moist chicken. Simply the best!

Tacos Garcia has on their menu a New Mexican enchilada plate that features New Mexican style sauce and blue corn tortillas and IMHO is the best rolled enchilada in West Texas! Green or Red Chili are both sublime! If you want more than Tex-Mex food give it a try, however...I must warn you to be careful as to what you... More

Came here for late dinner. Seated at a table with my back to general area. Ordered a margarita on the rocks. Not cold even though on ice, weak. Selected a single relleno because it wasn't fried. Food was very hot but fairly tasteless. Relleno smothered in a Ranchero Sauce which was awful. Canned diced tomatoes w a few peppers. Yuck.... More

Been here a few times and have had mostly good, figured a good time to review. The lunch was good, I had the chimi with Barbacoa and my wife had the queso with brisket on the side. Both were very good but the brisket had awesome flavor. Waitress kept everything going for us, with no problems. This place gets busy... More

Upon entry, hostess took us to rear dining room. We asked to be seated in front area where more people were seated. Startled, she dropped menus on floor and asked someone else to seat us. Our waiter was rude, short and offered no welcome. None of the orher stafff offered greetings or smiles. Food was medocre. All In all, I... More

Fantastic Mexican food. Took the family and we were all satisfied. Nice facility. Busy staff, but the excellent food conquers all.

This is basically a local version of Chevy's. The walls are brightly colored and the interior has that stereotypical Mexican decor. The service was good and the bartender was friendly. However, the food is just not that good. The chips are thin and stale, the salsa is bland and watery, and the food is subpar. There is nothing authentic about... More

Read reviews on TA and decided this was our type of place...a hole in the wall that serves wonderful reasonably priced food. I had 2 if the grilled tortilla tacos. Lots of nicely seasoned beef with fresh lettuce and tomato. Rice and beans were very tasty also. Killed my "less sugar" eating plan and had a Jarritos orange soda. Hubby... More

Came here to eat supper with the family as a party of 7. We were seated quickly and the service was excellent. The menu is easy to read and has several choices to choose from. They also have an open bar that makes a very good strawberry margarita and chiton. They have 3 salsas to choose from to go with... More

We used to live in Amarillo and this was one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I insisted that we eat here as it had been a few years since we were last there. I always have their signature dish which is Tacos, rice and beans. Excellent! Love their hot sauce and chips. Service wasn't that great this time. It was... More
