Never a bad meal. You would pay $25 a plate for food this good in Dallas. Never disappoints. Great shrimp dishes. Fabulous street tacos. Great guacamole.

Tacos were great. Burritos were great. Shrimp cocktail was great. Place was packed. Service perfect. Quick. Heck of a meal.

The food at El Tejavan is consistently delicious. The homemade guacamole is chunky and fresh. The sauces are made from scratch and the ingredients are wholesome. You almost feel healthy eating Mexican food here (almost). Nothing is smothered in cheese. Everything is well-seasoned but not so spicy that your mouth burns for hours afterwards. The only drawback to this place... More

We love getting the pastor tacos. They come with a little guacamole and are delicious! The servers are good but might have trouble understanding you. We went at lunch and it was busy never got our guacamole but she didn't charge us for it. Overall 4☆

Tasty Mexican food at reasonable prices. We each got the 4 street tacos so we could share. We had al pastor & Barbacoa. The flavors were spot on and the corn tortillas are the best I've ever had. I got a Michelada with modelo. It is served in a huge beer stein. The tomato base is yummy and mixed well... More

Visiting my son, he brought us to this place raving about it so I was anticipating a great meal. That did not happen. First, the disappointment when I couldn't get a bottle of water (that's all I drink). As such I went drinkless until son got me a bottle outside. It's a good thing because the Carne Asada I ordered... More

Traveling through Amarillo we were wanting Mexican food (Tex Mex) having been in Colorado for two weeks. This was very good. Sopas for the wife and chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce for me. Excellent. Great service. Attentive and quick.

Be aware that there are two locations! We decided to go here because of the nice looking menu we saw on their website, however we ended up at the East location because we didn't realize there were two locations. When we drove up we were surprised because it looked very run down and didn't seem to fit the look of... More
