We come to this restaurant every night that we are in Amarillo. It's been this way once a year for four nights, every year for the past 10 years.. The food is consistently been fantastic, the wine selection you can't find better for four hundred miles in any direction. The service is exceptional. Some of our favorites are the mob... More

We love Italy, mostly Tuscany having lived there a number of years. We go back every other year just for the food, people and atmosphere. Therefore we love Macaroni Joes, service, food and again romantic atmosphere. On this visit we got there early and ordered the Prime Rib Special with a loaded Baked Potato (not Italian I know) and it... More

I took my wife here for a romantic dinner, having never been there before, and I will go back many, many times again. The ambiance is that of a Tuscan setting, quiet, romantic, unobtrusive servers, great menu, fantastic wine list. For an appetizer we had crab stuffed shrimp which was superb! As an entree, I had the Chilean sea bass,... More

We celebrated my mother's 100th birthday party here and they treated her like a queen. Every employee she came in contact with wished her a happy birthday. The waiter was incredible and handled our special needs as well as our other dining needs. The chef wrote "Happy 100th Birthday" around the edge of her desert plate in red icing. They... More

My wife, who has celiac disease, & I ate here twice on trips to/from Albuquerque. All 4 seafood dishes were excellent - Salmon on Cedar Pank, Seafood Cioppino, Halibut & Seabass - and deserves 4 stars. Unfortunately the sides were sorely disappointing. The mashed potatoes were much too salty, & the asparagus was slightly overcooked. The worst was that the... More

I liked the pasta options and my shrimp with mushrooms and spinach was tasty, but I'd have preferred more spinach and less sauce. The olive oil and warm foccacia bread were good; the waitress friendly and helpful in the ordering process. My partner liked the chicken with vegetables pasta dish, too. Italian dressing on the house salad was freshly made,... More

We're never disappointed. The menu is upscale with very good value compared with the other upper-end choices available in Amarillo. Food and service is excellent. Try the double-bone pork chops with Mescal glaze or the cedar plank salmon.

When we travel between Colorado Springs and DFW area, we have found stopping at Macaroni Joes to be something special that we enjoy. The ambiance with respect to lighting is just right, as is the background music as well as the wall decor which makes you feel as though you're sitting in a courtyard in Tuscany. We've had many of... Great Little Italy atmosphere. Amazing game appetizers and great drinks. Meals are good too of course. Very professional staff. Great place for fun or for quiet conversation.
