Outstanding food---great service. Skip the lentil soup, and get hummus and their amazing grape leaves. Everything on their menu is great. Save room for their heavenly baklava.

This is a little dive housed in an old fast food or donut shop that looks like it should have been demolished years ago. The furnishings are early-ugly auction leftovers, the floors are worn down, and the bathrooms probably should have been refurbished while Reagan was in the White House. All of this is said tongue in cheek because the... More

We really like to eat here! The food is wonderful - we especially like the hummus, beef kabobs, and the Greek salad. The take out counter seems to always be busy and the wait staff is very good. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I went there with friends on a Monday afternoon. The place did not seem to be very richly decorated, but was adequate enough for the kind of restaurant. Some soft lebanese music might add to the atmosphere.Cleanliness was OK. Service was a little amateur. I think the waiters are school or college students, . Although they were not so professional,... The restaurant is very casual and the servivce was quite fast. Loved the hummus and baba ganoosh as appetizers. Be wary as the portions are very big. Had a good lunch snack the next day with the leftovers.

My husband and I were looking to eat at different place so we stopped here. The place is very casual. We were excited to try new things so we picked the Beef and Chicken Shawarma, unfortunately they were both very dry, the portions are pretty big though. The tabbouleh and baba ganoosh were really good though. I had a minty... More

FOOD: My dinner was absolutely perfect! It was the best baba ganoosh and tabbouli I've ever had. I love lamb and the Australian tender lamb shank was delicious - fall apart tender and flavorful. My husband said his chicken shwarma was a bit dry, but his side of Greek salad was excellent. The Labanesh (yogurt with olive oil and garlic)... More

We have been several times to this nice café for their Middle Eastern fare. The food is wonderful. We have enjoyed the hummus, the tabouli salad, the Greek salad, and especially the beef shish kebabs. It may have been a little long to wait for the food but I preferred this in order to have the food prepared fresh. The... More

My late wife of 45 years was Lebanese. She was teaching Saudi Arabian women home economics and Lebanese cooking when I met her. She taught Lebanese cooking in California. I have not experienced such cooking until entering the Beirut Rock Café! Every dish is beyond description in its taste, quality, quantity, and presentation. The tabouleh is the best I've eaten... This is the best in town. There are several Mediterranean places in town, but my absolute favorite is Beirut Café. Everything is wonderfully seasoned, and very generous portions are given. The baba ghanoush is fabulous, and the salads are excellent and quite large as part of the meal. I personally always get the grilled chicken on skewers, and there are... More
