Stopped and grabbed a pizza because of the good reviews. My son loved it. It's a thinner crust, almost New York style. We would eat here again. FYI... It's on the side of Valero.

Quite a little operation here- they put out quite a bit of fresh, hot and tasty Italian food. Not the best pizza, but certainly good. Very consistent and professional little place.
The original owner was a top chef in a fine hotel restaurant prior to opening this pizza spot. He began it in a food trailer and eventually moved into the station/convenience store. Every dish is delicious but we especially love the pizza! Order it by phone and go pick it up. There is no dining inside. Never disappointed in the... More
Excellent Pizza, Pasta and breakfast tacos. What else can be said about this great pizza restaurant except it is wonderful.
Giovanni's Pizza used to be a food truck sitting in the gas station parking lot. When the gas station/convenience store changed ownership they struck a deal to move Giovanni's inside. This is no 7/11 style pizza congealing under a heat lamp. They have a real pizza oven and make it to order. Their menu is pretty simple but everything I've... More
Don't judge a book by it's cover, this place is amazing! Not what you would expect from a gas station. I went for the lunch special, it came with a nice ceasar salad(homemade dressing), and a large piece of pizza. Plenty of food. I thought it was so good I went back for dinner the next night and got the... More
I read the excellent reviews on Yelp and made every effort to find this Pizza stand. It was well worth the drive. Location: Inside the Valero Gas Station (2900 B S Lamar Blvd). Yes, he got a small corner there to run his pizza stand. Cost: Very reasonable. A huge slice costs $3.50 (including 2 toppings). I ordered 3 different... More
I am extremely picky about pizza (I don't even like HomeSlice anymore, which means I will probably get excommunicated from Texas), but this is very, very good. Giovanni (yes, it's a real guy) is incredibly friendly and gracious, and he makes restaurant-quality food in a space that's literally smaller than my bedroom closet. I have no idea how he manages,... Great wood fired pizza at this take out stand. He makes some excellent soups and pastas too, with good quality ingredients. The family touch, with good prices. Try it by the slice.
