Yesterday I bicycled down to a small pastry shop set in one of the few older modest houses still in Austin. Though serving a limited selection of fresh made treats, La Paisserie has maintain a genteel ambiance that appeals to me with a distinctly quiet echo of being in Paris. Seating is available inside plus outside on the small porch... More

I went here many times while living in Austin and was sure to stop in on my most recent visit! I love that they switch up the macaron flavors. The vanilla's my favorite every time but the others never disappoint!

Thoroughly enjoyed the GF Chocolate Hazelnut Cake. Great Service & Food all in charming old house that reminds me of my childhood home. The Lemonade Spritzer was a beautiful and refreshing drink just as described. Can't wait to visit again

If you want the best pastries and desserts in Austin go here! The Cro-brios are fantastic, but so is every other dessert!

A little hard to find, but worth trying. Lots of choices for fresh baked items. Not a very big place, so probably best for couples or small groups.

My best friend and I went to this place because it is one of the few places we could find macarons in Austin when I visited her recently! The building is an adorable old house that is repurposed into a little café. They have yummy pastries and coffee, as well as the macarons (which were not the best I've had,... More

We just got back from our first visit to La Patisserie. What a cute, charming, cozy place! We had just eaten lunch elsewhere, but my father-in-law wanted to finish off his lunch with a cup of coffee and a donut from La Patisserie. I ordered a homemade cookie which was delicious and fresh! The shop is located in a small... More

We stopped by La Patisserie on a whim after taking our photo at the "Welcome to Austin" sign next door. We ordered chocolate hazelnut cake and macarons for our family of seven. The cake portions were huge, so the lady behind the counter was kind enough to cut those two portions into five equal sizes (and she took great pains... More

We discovered this place after missing the turn for another coffee shop. La Patisserie is in an old house in the Bouldin neighborhood. We only happened to notice the small sign while turning around and decided to give it a try. This is exactly the coffee shop we have been looking for in the neighborhood. They serve good coffee in... South Austin has so many quirky places, so this quaint little patisserie has just the right amount of charm. Just off S 1st & Annie, stepping into this old wooden house makes you feel you are stepping into a patisserie in the French countryside. The pastries appear like artwork and the smell of freshly ground and brewed coffee perfects the... More
