It was a tough decision but I went with the Mexican Vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone. Yummy! Worth the calories!

We went there after lunch at Lucky Robot next door. Ice cream is always nice after sushi! Local homemade ice cream. It was excellent. Had coffee ice cream with nuts inside and melted chocolate on top. To die for!

Amy's offers delicious ice cream in unique flavors. The Mexican Vanilla is an old favorite, but all their flavors are excellent. Be sure to have some the next time you are in Austin.

This restaurant is located in the SoCo District. It was a warm day and I heard from the locals that this was a good stop for ice cream. It was ok and nothing special about it. There wasn't a distinctive taste that would set this place apart from any other ice cream shop. A little disappointed.

Good choices and quality of ice cream. No indoor seating was bummer. Retro vibe makes for a cool atmosphere

This place stays open until midnight and you should definitely give it a try for dessert or any other time. Interesting flavors and characters all around. And - ice cream. Yum.

Very disappointed. They had no choices and their ice cream is nothing special. I got Belgian chocolate and it was full of ice pieces! Not worth it. Go elsewhere.

We stopped at Amy's one evening to grab some ice cream as we walked to the South Congress bridge to watch the bats. Surprisingly, there was no line, but the staff still acted like they didn't have time for us. Some of the flavors listed on the menu board had interesting titles but no description, so I asked what was... More

We saw the long lne and, being the lemmings (and ice cream lovers) we are, got in line. The crowd was fun and it was a hot day, so a scoop or two seemed like a good "strategy". Homeade, hand-dipped ice cream churned with passion. Worth the wait and lots of fun!

Even though Austin has gone through a few changes throughout the years and we are forever surprised by new addtions. Amy's has always been a welcome change with its innovative flavors that are not so unapproachable and still imaginative that even boggles ours minds. The locations are accessible; the staff is always very friendly and the ice cream is forever... More
