So tried a local college hangout. Extensive menu moderate prices, college kids are not rich afterall. Staff was friendly, place was clean. Located downtown across campus lots of visuals. People are interesting in Austin. Lots of specials, lots to pick from. Ordered the beef combination soup, ns4, great flavor lots of meat. Added spice and lemon HEAVEN, slurped it all.... More

Great authentic Thai food. Priced for the college kids nearby. This place is a hidden gem to get your thai fix on.

Absolutely delicious and spicy just what I like! I came here for the drunken noodles which were fantastic! Beats the other Thai places in town.

Been a few years since I went to Madam Mams on the drag...menu is great, all the food was hot and delicious, except the lively Spring Rolls, cool and crunchy! Recommend!

Average to slightly above average typical Americanized Thai food. Nothing that made me say "wow." Quality ingredients. Nice staff and clean. No lunch specials. Overpriced in my opinion.

I was visiting Austin University. I was brought here for lunch by a friend. I ordered a beef special curry with rice. It was the best beef curry I have every eaten at a Thai restaurant and I have visited some extremely expensive Thai restaurants. The prices were extremely good, as was the service. I can't wait to go back... More

I always went here back in college. Great, cheap and quick. I was just a few blocks away and always in there so they got to know my order by heart! I suggest either the panang curry or pad thai. Service can be a tad slow when the restaurant is full, but I can't blame them too much for that... More

Previously, the best Thai Food I ever had was at a restaurant in Dallas called Royal Thai. Indeed, I've seen it listed as one of the 10 best Thai restaurants in the US. Now, there's another one that needs to be noticed. Madame Mam's is just as good as Royal Thai which is really saying a lot. But in addition,... More

I stopped here for an early dinner with a friend who works at UT on my last visit to Austin. This place has a very extensive menu and several choices that I desired. I settled on a bowl with bean thread noodles, ground pork, pork slices, pork broth, fish balls, and imitation crab. It was rated 4 peppers on the... More

Don't expect much from this low cost Thai diner. Aged, low cost decor and dishes. Pleasant but unexceptional service. Food very mediocre. Great for a cheap filling meal for a college student.
