Never have I ever been to a restaurant where u had to pay for bread. The wine poor was pathetic at best. The food was mediocre, veal picata was not breaded & the sauce on the chicken Parmesan was like tomato soup . There are too many places to eat.

Nice Atmosphere and good Italian food but the glasses of wine were too pricy, the service at least our waitress was not friendly at all. The bread costs extra. They mixed up our checks and had to get it fixed. They billed me twice. This place sucks

We turned up having booked a table for 3 and they had down as a table for 2. We were greeted with a totally inflexible response, offered to eat at the bar or wait an hour and 45 mins. The waiter was rude and failed to offer a drink at the bar buying himself 10-15mins to work out what to... More

This small restaurant was packed on a Thursday night but accommodated us without a reservation. My wife had an excellent bolognese while enjoyed the duck confit. The food, atmosphere, and reasonable prices made for an very enjoyable night.

While on a visit to Austin a group of friends and I stumbled upon La Traviata. We knew it was a winner, because it was packed with locals during lunch. We had to eat at the bar. The atmosphere reminded me of some of the bistros in Italy, small and intimate. Our server was cordial and recommended a wine to... More

I have never been disappointed by La Traviata. The service is always excellent. The food is consistently wonderful and it price is right. There are other options in the area. However, they are overpriced for the value in my opinion. It does get crowded at lunchtime so go early. ENJOY!

What a wonderful experience. Our server was amazing, as was the wine. The pasta was some of the best i have had, coming from New York this is high praise. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a fabulous Italian meal.. no alcohol served wine and beer only...

What a lovely intimate Italian bistro. Nicely updated with a huge bar, wood floors, nice appropriate lighting and a focus on the food. We ordered the mushroom linguine (fettuccine con fungi) and pasta with pancetta (spaghetti a la carbonara). I thought the latter was more balanced and tasty. Started with the today's selection ravioli and it was yummy too. Very... More

While visitiing family in Austin we took out a group of 8 on a Monday evening and enjoyed a fantastic evening of good food and friendship. Ages ranged from 12 to 66 with tastes of equal variety. Every dish was consistenly tastey, substantial, and economical. I had the Chiopinni which was recommended to me over the Calamari by the Cantina... More
