Was getting some BBQ to take home. They only served chopped brisket before 10am, so didn't get the sliced brisket and ribs. Only got chopped brisket and sausages. The flavors are good but I still like Rudys bit better.

Not that great today. Very greasy and wasn't very flavorful. Disappointed. Had the chopped brisket sandwich and potato salad.

In the main terminal, inside security at the Austin Airport, for about $18 you can get brisket and pulled pork that will make your mouth water for more. Not the great atmosphere of the main restaurant in Driftwood but this is a great airport alternative. Ask for the hot sauce. Food is done by weigh so you always get a... More

First time experience with steaks and it was great! Also the lighting outside created a calm atmosphere around.

Been around for years. Great selection of smoked items. Eat inside or out. BYOB cooler allowed. Great for small or large groups

Yes. I should have guessed from the name alone... After asking around, people recommended the place so it might be one of the better fast food options at the Airport, but I would at least avoid the pulled pork. It was wayyyyyyy too salty. I couldn't eat it. The brisket was alright. Overall, a bit of a let down for... More

At the Austin airport. Service was exceptionally slow. The pulled pork sandwich was juicy but did not have much flavor.

We drove from San Antonio to try the Salt Lick on the recommendation of local friends. While there are apparently three outlets, we opted to go to the original location which was on the way to Austin. The drive took a bit over an hour, without much difficulty. The venue was large with a number of seating areas, and because... More

We were seeking out great BBQ in Texas and found it! Well worth the drive out of Austin. Great atmosphere, food and service.

After a week of BBQ and then coming to eat here I figured I would move for something different in the tacos. Sadly they were over-priced and lacking on quality. The chicken was ok but flavorless. The brisket taco was almost inedible the state of the brisket. Sorry eat anywhere but here if you get the chance.
