Chuy's never disappoints!!! Creamy jalapeño dip is a MUST, don't forget to ask for it. There isn't anything on the menu that isn't great.

Having been to Chuy's in other Texas cities before, I had an idea of what to expect. This Chuy's has a crowded layout that I have never seen before. We called in a to go order to save some time. The to go "area" is basically in a space leading to the kitchen and a wait staff gathering area. There... More
We've lived in the Austin area for over 20 years now. We found Chuy's a long time ago. The food is wonderful and service is always excellent. The restaurant has a personality to it, that I love. We've been to all of them and they all hold that same standard. My favorite is Barton Springs.
I have been going to this restaurant but not at this location for over 20years and I am shocked. I just found out that their chili con queso is not vegetarian. They make a cheese dip with chicken stock. I am so surprised and disappointed. Usually one of my favorite things to eat and now not an option at this... More
Came for Friday lunch with 13 coworkers. We were seated promptly, on the patio, even though some arrived late. Delightful ambiance. Service was great. Food was excellent. I asked for, and received, a delicious meal of grilled shrimp. Everyone left full and very satisfied. We took a vote and agreed on a 5 star review.
Traveling, stopped to get some dinner - fajitas sounded good. Over 30 minute wait for a table, I opted for a seat at the bar instead. Bartenders were friendly, prompt, professional and attentive. Beef fajitas and cold beer were exceptional! Come out quickly, water glass was kept full, and well-trained customer service was disguised as friendly chat from the staff.... More
Chum's does not disappoint if you are after Tex Mex food, a hipster and Austin-trendy atmosphere, all in a restaurant that does not waiver from its tried and true recipes. Check out a Chuy's during Hatch Chile month. Yum!
I had my first Chuy's experience last night with some friends. We arrived around 4:00pm and partook of the complimentary nacho bar which was really nice. I ordered the chicken flautas and was not overly impressed. My friends food looked much better so I will be giving Chuy's another try before marking them off of my list.
Once again Chuy's doesn't disappoint. A great selection on the menu. We decided on the Chuychang with refried beans. The meal came out quickly and was delicious. They serve fresh chips and salsa and if you come weekdays during happy hour they have a free nacho car with queso and taco meat. We liked it so much we visited a... More
Starting with the refill it yourself chips and salsa, moving to the specials of the day, I only have good things to say about Chuy's. I loved the Baja tacos. Filled with a large fish filet, Cole slaw, and special sauce. Amazing. The special was Hatch Beef Tacos. Delicious. A bit on the spicy side. Oh. The guacamole was so... More
