We had lunch on the patio. Staff was super helpful with suggestions. The food was very good and the restaurant had a lot of character. The Brisket in particular was great.

We were completely satisfied by the authentic Texas BBQ experience here. We arrived at 11am and only had a short line wait. We had the beef ribs, which were massive and everything we hoped for. Not many places do beef ribs on a Wednesday. Most only sell them on Saturday. It was phenomenal. What made the experience even better was... More

Can't go wrong with a plate full of delicious brisket, a couple of side dishes of your choice and a lone star beer. Highly recommended.

Friend had recommended Franklin's BBQ but the line/wait was insane. Stumbled across Iron Works BBQ by accident. Only about a dozen people in line, mostly locals. Food and service were great!

First time to have BBQ in Austin. I had the beef ribs and brisket with the green beans and cole slaw. All were very good. Very casual with paper napkins and plastic utensils. People were very nice and prices were reasonable. I'll go back

It's a great rustic setting to have beef and/or pork ribs and brisket and beer with your buds or your family.

I enjoyed Iron Works, but this was a tough one to rate. The restaurant has a friendly, funky vibe. The beef ribs were very good, but at $18.95 for 3, they weren't cheap. 2 sides were included. Portions were small. The cole slaw was average. The mac and cheese was runny, cafeteria style. Most definitely below average. So...very good main... More

Average BBQ. Nothing special. Have had better. No French fries except at lunchtime. Construction going on outside on 3 sides of the building.
