This place was a definite "locals" place. The staff is friendly and knows the regulars. The breakfast menu was loaded with unique items. I went with the queso omelette. Loved the avocado in it. The gingerbread pancakes were unusual but very good. Too much for me to finish. Loved it.

I went here on a Saturday morning and avoided a 45-45 minute wait by sitting at the small bar area. (5 seats only) The menu has a lot of unique items, but I had the eggs benedict Texas style and they were soooo good. The accompanying potatoes were perfect, not too hard. Oh and it came with fruit too. My... More

We had breakfast here twice it was so good. We had to wait for a table both times, but no more than 10 minutes. The place is buzzing and well organised. The service fast and friendly, and the food is really good. We'd be back in a flash.

Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Long wait, but worth it. Make sure you get something with the lemon sour cream sauce if you are here for breakfast. Best darn buttermilk pancakes I have ever tasted. Cute gift shop next door.

We stopped at Magnolia for lunch after it was highly recommended to us by a local. The menu was extensive, so we both ended up ordering two smaller plates so we could try multiple things. Everything we tried was delicious. Magnolia has a very relaxed, old diner vibe, which we found comfortable. Our only complaint was that all of the... More

Went here for Sunday brunch with a couple of ladies - we knew it was an Austin favorite - there was a wait but it went by quickly. Super loud alternative music was blasting. My friend had a hair in her food. The food was lukewarm at best and not too tasty. Wish I had had something better to say... More

It was very good. We had the spinach dip that was perfect. Ordered shrimp fettuccine alfredo that melted in your mouth. The only thing better than the food at night was the leftovers the next day..

Great ambiance with very good food. The service is very friendly and the freshness and quality of the food is top notch. The value for what you get is tremendous. This has become one of our favorite spots every time we are in Austin. Highly recommended.

We loved this place. I was expecting something kind of down-home...the atmosphere was just that, but the food was a really interesting selection...pretty eclectic. I ordered Paul's Acorn Squash with Shrimp added. It was excellent in every way. The service was a little bit slow, but I shouldn't say anything...they were busy, it was a Friday night during the holiday... More
