Stopped here after concert on the way to hotel. Very good burger with hearty beef patty and fresh tomato/lettuce. Just hit the spot.

Best burger stand with a veggie pattie I’ve ever been too. The fries are natural potatoes, which I don’t care for because I like McDonald’s fries.

Had lunch at P. Terry's with some co-workers and it was great. Reasonable prices and great burgers. I got a shake and it was fantastic. It has a retro-diner design that makes it bright and clean. Great place for lunch.

P.Terry's is on the DINE app by Tasting Table, so I trusted them for a quick dinner. Fries were great, but I was disappointed by the burgers. They were skinny little patties, like Burger King...really? I'm a little person and don't eat much at each...More

Hi Kate, thanks for your review. Sorry you weren't a fan of our style of burger - since our beginning, we've offered a throw-back to the drive-thru burgers joints of the 50's and 60's, so that means griddle cooked, slider-style burgers, made from all-natural Black...More

So was directed here by locals and they were spot on. Non of the greasy commercial stuff. Real fries again, kids love it and I'm ok taking them there.

We had the need for a quick bite leaving the bars so found P Terry's burgers. A person who left for San Antonio 15 years ago still spoke fondly of the place. He mentioned the fries and he is right. They are cut right there...More

Stopped by for late lunch after spending some time with the family in Zilker Park. Great tasting hamburger and I loved the shoestring fries. They also have very refreshing lemonade. This is a drive through with a walk-up window. There is ample seating at picnic...More

This is our go-to place for a late dinner. Their fries are really good. I have been here several times and it's always been delicious. They have several options to choose from.

Description
Kathy and Patrick Terry opened the first P. Terry's on July 5th, 2006 at the corner of South Lamar and Barton Springs. Patrick was following his childhood dream to open a classic burger stand, like the legendary Mack Eplin's he grew up with in Abiliene, Texas. But when Kathy read the book "Fast Food Nation", their plan to provide quality food and service went to a higher level. P. Terry's offers the freshest quality ingredients you can find served out of a drive-thru window. We're where fresh, all-natural, "never-ever" beef and chicken became staple items. We serve fresh-cut fries made from all-natural potatoes, free of trans fats and hydrogenated oils. Add to that our fresh-baked cookies, banana bread, and house veggie burger; our fresh-squeezed orange juice and lemonade; and our authentic milkshakes - we care about what's out there to eat, and we make our food with that in mind. But we didn't forget Patrick's original image - the classic burger joint of the '50s and '60s, when small-town hospitality was the standard. That's why we offer a simple menu with an open kitchen, with premium quality ingredients served at affordable prices. It's why we treat every customer with utmost respect; take every chance to give back to our community; and ensure our employees' well-being - through opportunities to grow with our business, access to unique benefits, and pay above industry standards.
