We had a lunchtime reservation, but it was not crowded at all. Since it was bbq, I went all the way with brisket and pulled pork, sides of mac and cheese and yucca cole slaw. The mac and cheese LOOKED awesome, it was only good though, and I was able to use the cheese sauce to dip my hot jalapeño... More

There were 8 of us who ate here for lunch. Our waitress, Shay, was really a lot of fun & very knowledgable about the menu. She explained everything on the menu in detail including portion size and choices. We started with the deviled egg appetizer & bore ribs. They were outstanding. You have choices of 1, 2 or 3 meats with... More

Lamberts was a hit with our crowd. The fried green tomatoes appetizer and brisket entry were fantastic. What really surprised us was how good the coconut cream pie desert was. Great service and atmosphere. I loved the Sangria as well.

My husband and I and another couple dined outside and couldn't have been more pleased with the service and quality of the food. The bison ribs were unbelievable, and the brisket was out of this world! And they use real cherries in their manhattans, which is always a plus!

I came in for a solo dinner after a long day of meetings. Without a reservation, I was lucky to snag a seat at the bar, where the full menu is offered. The bartender was very quick and friendly, making me feel right at home. Not wanting too much food, I ordered a single entree of brisket. Unfortunately, the brisket... More

Best BBQ meal I've ever had! Great atmosphere, great food! You have to go to this place if you're in Austin. I went for the $42 short rib and it was well worth it. Every plate that came out looked great though.

We had a pretty good meal here in this crowded Austin institution. The BBQ our group picked ranged from chicken (not huge but okay) to ribs (pretty tasty) to pulled pork (very good. ) Side orders for the table were mashed potatoes and mac and cheese which were excellent. The place is crowded and the servers are frankly all over... More

Had dinner here tonight. Started with deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes which were both good. Shared ribs, brisket, mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. Mac and cheese was good. Brisket was a little dry. The ribs were okay. I think I would have loved the Brussels sprouts were they not so spicy. Everything had quite a kick. Not sure... More

Got this recommendation from some delightful workers at the UT Co-op bookstore. Nice outside area to eat. We had barbecue and fried green tomatoes with crab meat was excellent. Try the queso and the yummy cornbread muffins.
