This is a fancy little Belgian restaurant in Old Town right next to the Kimpton Lorien Hotel & Spa. If you have ever stayed or visited Kimpton hotels and they have a restaurant next to it, it is usually a great place. Brabo offers excellent customer service from the moment you walk in and our waiter was very nice and... More

This is only the second restaurant I've come across with outstanding mussels. The other was in Napa. Three dozen mussels in a steaming hot iron pan in a wine sauce, for $20.00. The sauce was to die for. If you are a mussel lover, come on down!

Community table for happy hour, great price on mussels during happy hour....love the bread, crusty! Cheeses and marmalades, delectable. My favorite must go to dinner spot when in town. Service pretty good, like the casual a ambiance....seats spaced enough to allow conversation. On a good weather night, the courtyard so sweet to sit in. Spent my bday dinner here, good...but... We only had 1 dish for a quick casual lunch which was A chopped salad ( which was not chopped) with a tasteless piece of chicken on it. The salad was ok, chicken not so. Some olives on a plastic pretend skillet with white melted cheese was shared. Could have been purchased from Safeway olive bar. However bread and butter... More

Love this place so much! Try to stop in whenever in town. It's small so try to beat the dinner rush. Their mussels are amazing and so is the charcuterie!

Bold statement, right? The chef has some wonderful specials. I usually end up with three appetizers and an entree. Way too much food, but when else can I experience such great food.

Really cute little bistro-style restaurant with a modern twist. Staff were friendly and amenable and the food was sublime - I don't think I've ever had such beautifully cooked chicken before. Worth leaving the DC area to visit this place and Alexandria itself - such a cute town.

Just ordered from the happy hour menu and we were not disappointed. He ordered the mussel pot and I had the Margherita pizza. Both were excellent. Definitely on the higher price end, but worth it Mussels were fresh, tender and flavorful The Bread was warm and crispy on the outside. The pizza was a flatbread pizza lightly sauced with fresh... Had what the menu described as a butternut squash with pumpkin seeds tart. It was a flat-bread pizza. It tasted okay. Too doughy.
