I've been here several times, and this was my first time noticing how filthy it was. I was sitting in a booth. The wall next to us was covered in dried drips of some sort of food or drink. So were the pictures on the...More

I honestly don’t know how anyone could give this place less than a 4 rating. Comfortable, excellent food, wait staff superb. Ignore the nay sayers, this place is YUM!

Plenty of parking. Nice ambiance and atmosphere. Wine selection is good with reasonable bottle prices. Food was good, especially the crab cake

I’ve been to the other Clyde’s (Gallery and Georgetown). Always enjoy. Didn’t even know this one existed, but since it is almost next door to the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, it worked. Beautiful restaurant with a nautical theme. Really nicely done. However, it was wine...More

A group of us came here last week for lunch and we were shocked by the steep increase in prices--at least $3 per entrée.The salmon salad was tasty and the service was good but the price increase was certainly a surprise. I don't know how...More

You have to try this restaurant, once. You maybe hooked. The food is delicious. A little pricey, plan on waiting in line and the service is a long wait, which is to be expected. Try the lobster shepards pie, o man. GOOD No real downside here,...More

We went for lunch to celebrate an event. Most of us ordered from the brunch menu. The food was good and so was the service. My brother-in-law ordered a beer and it was $7. We thought that was a bit pricey. The food prices seemed...More

Made an early evening reservation on a Tuesday. The person on the phone was nice. When we got to the restaurant we were seated quickly. The selection was very good, including the choices of wine. The food was high quality and prepared perfectly. The oysters...More

Met an old friend for happy hour and dinner here. Hard to beat half price oysters until 7pm (and after 10pm). The Clyde's restaurants are not fancy but they offer consistently good food at good value.

Try Clydes at Willow Farm. It is about 8 times bigger than Clyde's at Mark Center. It is also way out in the suburbs so it may not work for you. It is a beautiful place on 500 acres and has many different themes. Look at the... More

Description
Opened in 1998 in the West End of historic Alexandria, Virginia, Clyde's at Mark Center is a vivid celebration of sporting life on the water. Thirty-five years after Clyde's opened in Georgetown, this property showcases our evolution from restaurants to full-scale atmospheres. From an Adirondack fishing camp to a Chesapeake Bay hunt club, each room memorializes the beauty and adventure found on the water. When you can't visit Nantucket in person, Mark Center is gloriously outfitted with antique model sailboats, a replica Potomac boathouse and a cozy beach shack and bait shop that's ready to welcome any sea dog.
