I love soft shell and should have made another choice. The craps were served over potato chips and were very deep fried. They were greasy and fried to the point there was nothing left in the claws, just the shell. Very greasy, the should have...More

Food was good but the seating was crowded. We were expecting something more quaint but it has a pretty contemporary bistro vibe. Service was pretty average and a bit slow.

Delicious food and excellent service in a fun pub style setting. Very good value for good quality lunch.

The salad by US standards was really good and there was a good fair amount of lump crab and prawns. The salad dressing was served as I requested separately so thoroughly enjoyed this fresh made meal. The Captains meal was all deep fried and very...More

Ordered the lobster bisque soup and the lobster was overcooked. Also had the lobster roll which was very dry and chewy. Others in our party had a variety and they indicated average at best. The service was very slow and the prices for the quality...More

This is one of our favorite family friendly Old Town Alexandria restaurants. We had been in Puerto Rico and my in-laws stayed with our three boys. We wanted to take them to a nicer place that was kid/family friendly. We had a list of a...More

Solid offerings at the usual tourist prices. Excellent east coast offerings, fresh, well prepared, not overcooked. Expect the place to be mobbed, because it's good.

This felt like a bar inside but is family friendly, $$$. I had a grilled seafood platter and my hubby the fried seafood platter. Everything was cooked perfectly. Service was great, our waiter very kind.

I don't know if that is available. Judging by the restaurant style and management I strongly suspect that gift certificates are available.

Is this the same seafood restaurant that was in the "warehouse district" of DC that I would take convention groups to eat in the 80's? When u walked in, the dining room was on the left and the bar was on the right. There was a combo playing in the bar and Stella, a singing waitstaff would join the combo to sing a few songs? Loved that place and am trying to find it again.

Must be a different place. This restaurant has been one of my mom's favorites since the early 80's when she used to take me there as a child. As far as I know they've always been in Old Town.

Yes, they serve lobster along with crabs also. The mussels and clams are the best.
