Food just OK-- our waitress was rude. Granted, we used a restaurant.com certificate, but it they didn't want to honor them they shouldn't participate. Had to get a manager to get our certificate used-- not worth the hassle.

after a full morning of touring, it was a good choice for break. A cold beer and burger were perfect for our group.

The food was non-appetizing. The service was horrible, and lots of DRUNK people being over served.

While in town for a weekend getaway, we came here on a Saturday afternoon (around 1.30pm) for lunch. First we couldn't find it, as several entrances were closed up and covered, as there is some construction going on in the Embassy Suites Hotel. But I asked one of the workers, and he showed me where we should walk to find... More

Definately not impressed by food nor service. It was just average and expensive too. Instead try other nearby choices like Joe Theisman's, Ted's Montana Grill (5 blocks south+west) or World Market's buffet. I went to Duke's three times, and yes they failed me three times with clients.

While staying in the Embassy Suites I use this as a place to meet. Surprizingly the food is very good. It is also a fair value. There is a very small bar area 6-8 seats, but this was also suitable for a meeting place and offered a decent selection.

Our meal was generally an excellent experience. At 6 p.m. on Sunday, we were the only people in the dining room, so it was a great place to have a conversation without having to shout over all the noise. Our waiter, Lavelle, was courteous and attentive. We had an appetizer sampler plate between three of us; all of the items... More

The man That assisted us, was Middle age with dark hair and olive complected. He never told us his name. I asked for a cold sandwich with mayonaise and got a hot sandwich with no mayonaise, then he ignored us so that he could do his side work of wrapping silver ware. The others finished their meal so I asked... More

Don't be fooled b/c this is in an Embassy Suites hotel, this place has some of the best food in Northern Virginia. Truly a hidden jewel, Duke's is usually empty and has happy hour specials 7 days/week. Great food and specialty martinis. Entrees are around $20 each or sandwiches for about half that. Unfortunately, the garage parking's not free, but... More
