Killer ESP is an oddity on King Street, the main drag in Old Town Alexandria. Most of the shops there sell tasteful decor, high end chocolates, or vintage bar ware--impractical stores for the acquisitive tourist. The restaurants tend to be more affordable, but they are clearly catering to a tourist demographic much of the year. Visually, the historical preservation tone... More

This is a relative newbie, but the tea is generous - very tastefully presented - huge bags with real tea leaves in for steeping. Generous sized mugs, and a stack of honey etc at the back counter to mix and match with your drinks. Service is fast - much faster than Starbucks - and accurate. They have pastries and yummy... Wish it were bigger as it always feels like you're in someone's way here. Good selection of coffee & tea... all are yummy!! Love the selection of coffee you can buy and make at home as well!!

Best Espresso in Old Town! Truly a quaint coffee and pastry shop! They even have a very large selection of Gluten Free bakery, including apple and nutella turnovers!

Stopped in for a joe and a slice of pie. The apple crumble was fresh and delicious. Had a cappuccino, tasted great and well made. Loved the coffee house atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

We enjoyed he coffee so much here, we stopped in twice in the same day on recent trip to Alexandria. The salted caramel latte was delicious! I also had a almond crescent that was yummy! It's very narrow inside and gets very busy, so not always possible to sit and relax and enjoy your coffee inside if you are hoping... More

What a neat coffee shop! It looked crowded, but I decided to take a chance on finding a seat. Everyone was very friendly, and my latte came out great. I lucked out and got a table near the front door. Not a bad thing...the shop was rather warm. I enjoyed my time and my coffee. Would love to stop by... More

I come here for coffee a few times a week before my workday begins! The coffee is really good and affordable considering it's much better quality than your local Starbucks. I loved their almond croissant and lunch sandwiches. Plenty of seating in the back of the store with multiple plugs to cater to any laptop user. I was also greeted... More

Us Europeans usually have problems in getting Americans to put enough coffee in the brew. Extra shots have become the norm for me to get folks to pump it up from a pale brown tasteless liquid, this place was an exception. The food looked fine as well

I went to Killer Esp on a Sunday afternoon. Having read about the pies, I wanted to try them before leaving Alexandria. They only had cherry, key lime and chocolate. What? I ordered cherry and my pop had key lime. The cherry pie was too tart and the key lime was okay. I expected way more.
