I got a coupon from Verizon (Smart Rewards) too. Easy to get to, central location, and good food. They were busy every time we passed by.

Had one of the best meals I have very had in DC. The ribs are the best this side of Memphis. My only suggestion is to leave the sugar out of the cornbread. Price is very reasonable, service top notch.

We were in DC for the Cherry Blossom Festival and after getting off the metro decided we should look for something to eat before going to our hotel. The Crystal City Shops were mostly closed and we had never been there before! We just walked around until we found this place. I'm not a big BBQ person but the hubby... More

I went here for take out last night and glad I did because there were like 100 kids eating there making the place very noisy. I ordered the cranberry salad w/grilled chicken. The chicken was unfortunately overcooked and came with an odd tasting tomato based dressing. The place is located in a mall like setting.

Had dinner at this Crystal City establishment and enjoyed the BBQ platter of rib, briquettes and chicken with choice of 2 sides. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were reasonable. The BBQ was all excellent. The atmosphere was like that of a sports bar with TVs and friendly chatter.

King Street Blues is one of the many restaurants in the Crystal City underground area. Although I like lots of Southern food, especially Cajun, I can't recommend this place. I delayed going, because some colleagues had gone earlier in the week, and said the service was horrible, although the food was OK. They'd gone over the weekend, so I waited... More

If you like BBQ then you need to try this place. Almost a 5 star rating from me. The bread pudding is the best we ever had. The brisket was great!

My wife and I went here for dinner after seeing it was recommended by our hotel. The service was not great from the beginning and we were sat in the bar, which was empty, however the bartender did not seem to impressed to wait on us. The drinks were good when we could get refills and seconds but it was... More

I stopped by one evening alone and had a catfish po'boy with fries and a house salad. The catfish was wonderful — succulent and perfectly breaded and crispy. The fries were excellent too, though they are for folks who like them a bit meaty and oily (which I do). The salad, fixings, and bun were all okay. Just for the... More

A bit disappointed in this place. Items were dripping with oil. I ordered the nachos which were chips, etc but I really did not find them enjoyable. There are plenty of other restaurants to eat at when in Arlington. We won't be returning, unfortunately.

Thank andrea

So, what is comfort food with a southern accent? We are not a BBQ house but many say our slow hickory smoked back ribs, pulled pork and pulled chicken are the best when smothered with our signature Mahagony BBQ Sauce. Not to be overlooked is the Jambalaya Pasta. And, of course, for the light at heart, we also have scrumptious broiled Salmon cakes, awesome salads and more for those watching their waist line. You want the southern accent? Try our Southern Supper or any of our great Po' Boys, Burgers with an attitude, and fine Southern Salads. We guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised with our fare, we use the freshest of ingredients, and we don't charge you an arm and leg for it!
