I've been going to El Charro for many years until I moved. I was in the area and decided to make a To-Go order. I opened a taco in the car and to my surprise there was more cilantro and onions than meat...barely any...seriously. I...More

Consistently good quality Salvadoran-Mexican menu items. Good pupusas. The cheese steak sandwich is arguably one of the best values in Arlington. Delicious and only around 5-6 bucks.
I've been visiting this place for years and will continue for many years to come. It's a neighborhood/Arlington place but one that the out of towner should visit for its authenticity. Inexpensive and delicious. All meals.

So good..so cheap..Had a few things Tamales..goat pupusas and more mmmm REALLY really delicious The older ladies pounding the flat bread was a real treat..GO there!
Probably the best pupusas I've had and for $1.50 each. The tamales are nothing to write home about and the maduros are mediocre. The tacos (one beef and one chorizo) are good. Overall, you can't beat the price.
To me, there is almost nothing better than the steak sandwich at El Charrito! I could eat one every day of my life. Pupusas and carne asada plates are excellent choices as well. Strayed one time when I ordered the chicharones with yuca fries, and...More
