Great Mexican food with a special brunch touch on Sundays. Tostadas are generous size. Chips and salsa flavorful. Brunch entrees are generous portions, perfectly prepared. Service excellent. Very family friendly. Gluten-free dishes.

Great food but small portions. The salsa and chips are fantastic! The serving sizes are very small even the kids meals & everything is pretty much al a carte. The prices are a bit high for what you get too, but overall the food is very good!

Fresh guac, fish tacos, busy family setting, super friendly owner/staff, fresh squeezed OJ, margueritas. We travel from Niagara to friends in DC a couple times a year. Taqeria is always a destination.

We have been to this restaurant probably 50 times. Food is excellent, service great. Highly recommend the margaritas. Certainly more expensive than district taco, but worth it if you're looking for a sitdown experience.

This is a great restaurant if you are searching for authentic Mexican food, more the Baja variety. Great fish tacos, duck, guacamole, rice, and beans. A real local find.

Had beef taco and beef and bean burrito. We live near the Mexican border so normally get very real Mexican food so were pleasantly surprised by the authentic food here.

This restaurant was a decent place to meet friends, it had a nice atmosphere. Most people seem to go when the Italian place has a line.

We ate an early dinner here on a Saturday. Beginning with the tortillas chips and yummy salsa served up with a friendly smile, we really enjoyed our meal. We shared a few different items on the menu including the baja fish tacos, crispy LA style veggie taco, veggie burrito al arriba, and the rajas poblanos. Yes, we ate lots of... More

Having lived for over 25 years in the DC area, I was on a surprisingly endless search for truly wonderful Mexican food - and finally found it in Arlington. Taqueria el Poblano is the one place I can always count on for very fresh (most importantly in their amazing shrimp and fish dishes) food and margaritas (real lime juice). Dinner... More

This is our reliable go-to neighborhood restaurant when we want to be sure we will enjoy what we order and have a pleasant evening. So when our college-aged son offered to take us out for dinner before he returns to school, we all agreed Taqueria el Poblano would be a great choice. They have large (but not ridiculously huge) portion... More
