It was very quiet when my girlfriend and I stepped in on the way home from Dulles, but the food was wonderful! My girlfriend has the green curry, and I had the pad Thai - both were excellent! Service was prompt and courteous.

Great Thai food. Portion is larger than other restaurants I've been to. Love their duck dishes and Thai ice tea.

So far, this is the best Thai cuisine I have encountered. Located in the Safeway Shopping Center in Broadlands, Mali Thai is a hidden gem. Lunch prices are fantastic! For $9 you get a real meal instead of the fast food restaurant guilt!

Been here multiple times. Good food, never seems to be crowed, so nice and quite dining. Definitely spicy if you order a spicy dish. Some Thai places are not.

Thai food is my favorite so I always try new places to see how authentic it is. This place is good and the ambiance is very nice and cozy. We had the honey duck (very good), tilapia and the fried rice. Service was also good.

I love foreign food so am no stranger to thai food and while i tried many thai food restaurants in the past, I like mali thai the best. The owner is friendly and always creates amazing dishes. The restaurant is clean and staff is courteous. I visit this restaurant at least once a month and would recommend it to anyone... More

We lived in Thailand for 4 years and Thai food is our favorite. While the number of Thai restaurants in the States is growing - many are not so good. Mali Thai is an excellent choice and represents real central Thai food. The setting is pretty ordinary - but the food and service are top notch. The owner is a... More

Their crabmeat fried rice was excellent. It appears that the crab is battered and egg’d and stir fried into a large pancake, then placed on top of a bed of fried rice. Maybe it is not battered, but the result is a nice crabby cake to eat with the fried rice. Delicious. The veggies in the seafood salad could not... More

I visited Mali Thai on a Saturday afternoon. I had chicken drunken noodles and my husband had red curry chicken and an appetizer of spring rolls. The atmosphere is very pleasant for a strip mall restaurant. The service was prompt and friendly and the cost was comparable to other Thai restaurants in the area. The drunken noodles in particular were... More

We decided to get take-out one evening after work, so I called in our order. My order was repeated back to me to ensure it was correct. I was quoted 10-15 minutes and it was ready just as I arrived. The lady who brought the food out from the kitchen was very nice. Even though it was about 6:30pm on... More
