Besides great BBQ, Tim, the owner, is really fun to talk to. He is an experienced catfish noodler. Ask to see his fishing photos.

This little restaurant has good barbecue. The facilities are very limited to the customers. No room to stand nor eat as it is run in an old house, without going outside on picnic tables. This negative observation doesn't seem to stop the crowd from coming back! I enjoyed the barbecue, serving size was very adequate. Price was good. .

Love this little place! Great food, served with friendly love. Tim came over between customers to give me the history of the building. This is a must try!

I tried this place out near Randolph-Macon College. North Carolina BBQ was very good. Hushpuppies were large but tasty. Plenty of sauces to try. Being from North Carolina I had to give it a try and came away impressed. It is an old white single story house converted to a restaurant. The garage has been converted to a place to... More

We spotted this little hole in a wall restaurant while looking for some food and decided to try it..these can often have the best food....not this time. The BBQ meat was very bland..we had the pork and the beef sandwiches. The baked beans tasted like they were out of a can and the potatoes in the potato salad were very... More

I was under the impression that the BBQ was cooked on site. I was told by the counter person that it was not. I was disappointed to learn this. The BBQ was good but disappointed as I do not know whose BBQ I was consuming? Clarification please!

Used to be pretty good barbecue but recently the quality has really gone downhill. The last few times we have gotten a pound of pulled pork there has been lots of LARGE pieces of fat and gristle. I know some fat is to be expected in BBQ but this is extreme. Unfortunately it's the only place for takeout BBQ in... More

The BBQ was great. Husband and I had NC style BBQ and it was delicious and as advertised. Just like I grew up eating. The hush puppies are a little bigger than I am used to, but good flavor. Slaw was just like home, vinegar based and not sweet, perfect addition to the sandwich. Fried okra was delicious and HOT... More

Came across this BBQ joint as we were looking for something to eat on pur journey home back to the Philadelphia area , this place is a classic BBQ joint , kind of feels like your at Freddy's from House of Cards ,a small and cozy tucked away in an old house. The BBQ was excellent! I had the North... More

The food is refrigerated and microwaved. I saw the guy in back take the ribs from a wrapper. Then I heard the microwaves in the back. When we asked if it was microwaved we were told the ribs were not cooked on sight because the place is too small. I asked for sauce on my ribs not knowing is was... More
