The owner is a nice guy, the food is even better. The gnocchi is the main specialty of this restaurant and they do a really good job! Taken together with the modestly price of the dishes served this is a winner for sure!

The difference with Primitivo is the attitude. Clearly driven by customer focus by the owner - a Brazilian who worked in the UK for 12 years and then came back to his Italian heritage in Brazil. The food is great, we recommend the entrada for two people, and you can't go wrong from there on because it's clear the owner... More

Went to Primitivo after seeing its rating at Trip Advisor. It was as great as its previous rating. Great food, nice service. Really good option for a family dinner at Búzios.

"Rua das Pedras" is a must go in Buzios at night. We decided to visit Primitivo and we liked it. It's not an amazing food, but I liked lasagna a la bolognesi and the Italian style thin pizza. My wife and son asked for a risoto with shrimp, zucchini and lemon but they didn't like that much. Next time we... More

My partner and I had a lovely dinner, the host recommended the risotto with lamb. We went with that and a bottle of prosecco. Food was great and the service was excellent. Good prices too!

We ordered pizza and although they were not too bug, they contained too much cheese and the bottom was too thin, and not at all crunchy, in short: disappointing!

Don't know all restaurants in Buzios, but from what I've tried, this is the best. It's an Italian place, and they're very good at it. Delicious food (especially pizzas) and a great wine selection. It's quite easy to tell the food is fresh and made with the very finest ingredients. All of their staff is super friendly and customer focused.... More
