We walked by this place on our way theCopacabana Beach and decided to stop in on way home - first, compared to other restaurants close to beach the prices were very reasonable and we were surprised by that. Our lunch was wonderful, pastas com in full and half orders so I got half the fettuccine with chicken so I could... More

We found this cafe on trip adviser and decided to try it for lunch. We liked it so much and there was so much variety that we went back for dinner the same day and then lunch the next day. The only downside for us was that the staff have very limited English and we have even worse Portuguese! It... More

Besides very slow service, and quiches are sold at R$ 26,00 and what they bring you is a mini quiche which doesn't even fill the palm of your hand.

I visited here in August during the Rio Olympics 2016, both before it got busy, during and after the games. I stayed with my wife and teenage son and got to know the place really well. Had lunch or brunch here a few times. Although the sandwiches are great and the hot food (specials) always enjoyable, it is the deserts... More

Sat down for a breakfast and checking my emails. Service and food was good. The juice menu is excellent and tasty! A nice little place with free wifi.

Hard to resist breads, sweets, waffles, and all sorts of temptations! Perfect for a snack in the middle of the morning, an afternoon tea, even lunch, all accompanied by a nice conversation and a superb experience for the senses. For snack type guys, this is paradise. The appearance, the smells, the brightness, all senses are exposed to a very rewarding... More

The food is good, I tried a sandwich it was well stuffed, but the service is terrible, it took about 20 min for a coffee and to put the sandwich to take away and there was a few people there. So go with time and patience...

We walked by this restaurant on our way from our apartment to the Siqueria Campos Metro stop during our Olympics stay in Rio and were tempted by the displays of cakes and pastries. On a day with a break from events we stopped in and enjoyed a late lunch with son having a chicken Caesar salad, husband a chicken Caesar... More

Great place for cakes. Popular spot always jam packed with people. Place bakes its own stuff and bought some great tasting biscuits to take home.

The Bakers was a block away from our apartment during our Olympics visit. It quickly became our to go breakfast/snack spot. The croissants and pastries are delicious. Coffee is nice and strong. There's plenty of breakfast options such as omelets or waffles. While the majority of the staff do not speak English, there is a gentleman there who speaks very... More

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
