My son is picky, so our food choices in Brasil had become limited. However, he loves Italian food. La Trattoria was right across from our hotel entrance. The prices were good and the food was excellent. It seems that in any Italian restaurant, there is...More

Friendly, popular restaurant. Good freshly prepared food, wide choice. Good value as prices go in Rio! Locals and visitors eat there, came recommended and not disappointed. Fast service.

A friend recommended this to us who was a local. It was in walking distance of our place so we tried it and wasn't disappointed. Moderately priced traditional Italian comfort food. Everything was in large portions and piping hot. Service was just o.k. meaning our...More

Our guide recommended this place and it was excellent. Garlic bread was lovely and chef special - spaghetti al pomodoro, gran Padana and basil was absolutely delicious, wine and caramel pudding also top class. Highly recommended.

Our hotel was close by and our guide recommended La Trattoria. Apparently it is popular with the locals. For convenience, we went in for a very light dinner of just a caesar salad and beef with pappardelle and fettuccine. Both dishes were okay but bland...More

traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of
everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs,
chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and
more live side-by-side. There are options for all
price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
