Our hotel recommended Skinna and we were delighted with this family owned restaurant. The friendly atmosphere and excellent food made for a perfect evening. The service was really very good - we could not have asked for more. We speak no Portuguese but the owner spoke fluent English and went out of his to explain each dish. A great friendly... More

The Skinna is a family owned restaurant that serves superb seafood in a charming environment (ask for a table at the exterior balcony), in an efficient and caring way, for a little bit higher than reasonable price. Seafood lovers shouldn't miss this one!

I asked my hotel for a fish restaurant and they sent me to Skinna. Honestly I did not find it that brilliant considering the high price. Also the credit card machine was not working so needed to go to withdraw money. Annoying

Very good service starting from a hotel pick up with two very comfortable cars driven by the owners of the restaurant. The atmosphere is not that pleasant but the food and the service warrant the visit.

A group of 4 of use went to dinner here based on the recommendation of the hotel. They provided a pick up and drop off service from the hotel which was nearby. The location is off the main street and from the outside it does not look great. Once inside it is a little bit better and more like a... More

We went to Skinna based on the reviews, but we're very disappointed as the restaurant is very expensive for the low quality of food it serves. Place is not necessarily good looking, the food was below mediocre and the bill was absurdly high. Will not go back.

I am Italian, I am from Pescara, however I live in SJC since May 14th. I never ate better than this! My compliment to the owner and his own crew!
