Good option in Copacabana! Little place (20 places) with family environment. Compared with other restaurants in the area, best prices. Menu plates with 2 options (22 or 32 reales) and great pizzas. Watchout! When the menu says 2 people they mean 2 very very hungry people ;) Bad side: the 'sorvete de creme calda' (dessert) was a disappointment, plain icecream... More

I had the beef from the lunch menu. It was served with rice, mashed potato, black beans and some salad. For about R30 it was good value.

Had lunch here while in Brazil for World cup. FYI there is no bar here. Its a small restaurant at a corner. There is about 5 tables, seats about 15-20 people tightly. Food was good.. a bit pricey. They do serve beer and Caipirinahs. Good for breakfast or lunch.

1 Thank Aztlan

Sfera restaurant is a young house in Copacabana, since 2012 serving the typical cuisine of Rio. We work with grills, empanados, snacks and salads. Within our specialties we have the chicken à parmegiana, the picanha à Brasileira, the contrafilé à gaucha and more. The space is small and cozy, but you're in Rio de Janeiro and passing through Copacabana, it's worth tasting. We have the professional delivery service through our website or phone you can ask in the comfort of your home or lodging. Come and taste the traditional Carioca gastronomy.

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
