Peruvian restaurant in a small place with great service. The quality of the ceviche is excellent and it's great value for money.

What a nice surprise! It left me wanting to come back for more. Nice little place in Botafogo, serving very good food and deinks at reasonable prices, with a friendly an efficient service. We went for the menu executivo for lunch. Good options, generous plates,...but rather Brazilian options. I would love to try dinner with the Peruvian dishes.More
Hello Bernat. We're glad too know that you had a good experience in our restaurante. In regards of the food, we need to add that all our plates have peruvian influences and most of than are very popular in Peru too. Thank you soo much...More
Delicious food for a very good price! Authentic Peruvian cuisine. The staff is very good, attentive, something very rare in Rio.
Hello, Bianca. Thank you for your positive feedback. We're glad to hear that your experience was very good. You're welcome to come back anytime you want!
Delicious cuisine with really amazing positions in the menu. Ceviche was made out of fresh ingredients and was pretty big as for this type of a meal (we ordered two types of a “boat” and vegetarian spring rolls). The service extremely nice and very professional,...even if they didn’t speak English it did not influence our visit and we treated it as a part of our local experience. I would just suggest to have a menu in English for non-Brazilian guests.More
We lived in Peru for 5 years. The food isn’t exactly Peruvian but that’s due to ingredient availability. It was as authentic as it could be. Presentation was outstanding and everything we ate was full of flavor. Definitely recommend.
The place is really nice and the staff very welcoming Pisco was delicious (they have a real barmaid) and so was the original Ceviche - exactly like I had it in Peru We also recommend to taste the squid with olive mayo and the duck...with home-made gnocchi and huacayna sauce - it was excellent!More
It's about my tenth time going to this restaurant and everything is always fine except for the service. We always sit on the second floor where some lady server is always pretty dry and careless and makes us feel like we are bothering. Thankfully yesterday...they sat us in the 4th floor where Claudemir took care of us and he was wonderful! Thank you Claudemir for your great service, it really makes a difference! The food was a bit cold but I guess it's because the restaurant was busy last night, because normally is not like that.More
I come to Rio once or twice a year. Invariable I leave disappointed with the poor standard of restaurants, which has been steadily declining over the last 10 years. And then I went to Lima Cocina. On a Monday lunchtime, usually the worst day to...try something new, as produce is usually left over from the weekend and chef is suffering from post-weekend blues. But not here. Amazing fresh food, warm if subdued welcome, and the food... as good as the best Peruvian restaurants in London, if not better. The Pisco Sour, probably my favourite cocktail, was faultless. So was the ceviche and the main dishes that followed. There was care and respect for every ingredient. There was genuine love for the food. I couldn]t recommend it more. 10 out of 10.More
Having lunch with 4 of which a 50% Peruvian and a 25% Peruvian, we all thoroughly enjoyed the food, the drinks and the service here. There are other Peruvian restaurants in Rio, all good, but this one is our favourite so far.
Really good peruan food. we had the trio ceviche which was great. Salmon and Tuna we can only recommend. Prices are ok for the good quality of food. the restaurant has a good atmosphere. we will definitly go back
This place is great! Gentle staf, many options and the better of the food of Peru with a gourmet touch. You can choose between big plates or little portions. The trio of ceviche is delicious. And the churros morados for dessert are amazing! You can...try the typical black corn juice too...is very good!More
the restaurant has recently moved and the new venue is equally as pleasant .the peruvian style menu covers all bases with very fresh ceviche and traditions ..the price of the food is good as is the price of the limited but adequate wine list..pisco cocktails...are great. the main courses are delicious and substantial..there is a good desert selectionMore
Recomiendo este restaurante comida maravilhosa y delicioso bebidas equilibradas y com sabor peruano.
We went here with friends because of reports that this is Rio's best Peruvian restaurant. It is located in a street with a lively night scene. The menu is Peruvian all right. We checked out a few things, including all of the ceviches. The ordinary...ceviche is huge and great, and the best among the bunch. Other ceviches were less successful---one was way too sugary. The pisco sour cocktails were out of this world. However, all of this was served by a depressing lifeless crew of waiters.More
Food is fresh and tasty, but it is more like tapas than a meal. The menu is not in english and staff speak very little english. We had to guess what to order. Not as expected. Booked online giving a discount. We did not get...any discount as we could not communicate with the staff.More
