Down home country cooking. Friendly people, delicious food, wonderful experience. A bit off the beaten path, but wonderful place.

Yummy seafood fresh and delicious. Grew up eating at this place and love to visit. A bit pricey but worth it for fresh gulf seafood.

Enjoyed great seafood here, gilled shrimp, fried shimp, catfish, & crab claws. Gumbo is ok (but I prefer New Orleans style over Alabama bayou; others may differ). Nice, friendly service, reasonable prices.

I am from central New York visiting family in Irvington Al. They took me to their favorite place, which is the Lighthouse. We all got the crab claws, loaded potatoes and hush puppies. The Best!! I could have eaten the crab claws all night. Wish this place was back home.

If you want fresh fish and good ole grits this is your place. Awesome crab claws. Cool weather getting bigger. Good ole Southern family atmosphere.

This makes several trips we've made to this restaurant and we go primarily for their Crab Claws. They're fresh, local hand picked and HUGE!!! Delicious as well. But FYI, if not in the mode for seafood...they've got a Homemade Hamburger Steak that's 2ND TO NONE!!! Anything we've ordered had always been great. We live an hours drive away and visit... More

Wow, been eating here for many years whenever we come to mobile from Georgia to visit family. Many seafood places don't know what we are talking about when we try to order crab claws. The Lighthouse knows how to make them just right. Came on a Friday night and it was a wait in line about 15 minutes. Once seated... More

The Lighthouse is our go to place whenever we have out of town guests visiting. The food is always fresh and the fried crab claws are to die for. If you are ever in the Mobile area, this is a must stop.

Been eating there off and on since the entire dining room was in what is not the lobby. I'm sophisticated enough to tell a sand bottom oyster from a mud bottom one by taste, and I've been eating the best seafood the Gulf Coast has to offer from Bay St. Louis to Appalachicola since 1950. I've never been disappointed at... More

The food here is what you would expect when eating at someone's southern home. A lot of fried goodies and typical sides one would expect. The decor and furniture is a bit outdated, but the service was friendly and the food was pretty good.
