Taking chances and innovating traditional dishes can have very positive results or very disappointing ones. In this case, I am afraid it did not work for me. I had the robalo (fish) with banana purée. The idea of the contrast of a salty fish with the sweet banana purée was a good idea. But the result was disappointing. The place... More

Very nice restaurant with a very friendly service. The meat came well done and we asked for medium. This seems to be a common complain in this restaurant. The starters are great. Do not leave without having the guava souffle with cheese. It worths the visit.

I went there with my fiancee for our anniversary and it couldn't haven been better. The food was great! For entry we had the pasteizinhos made of Canastra cheese, honey and pepper. As maincourse I would recommend the salmon with roman lettuce. Unfortunately there was no room left for the dessert. The service was nice, too. Helpful and friendly staff.... More

Delicious! Relaxed and charming restaurant with an air of understated cool. The seafood paella and bobo de camarãos especially good. Nice cocktails, too.

Have been here a few times now and the food has always been excellent. The food is a fusion of Brazilian and European (mostly French) influence with a touch of oriental flare. Food is great, but also very expensive for what it is. The service is normally good but today it was very disappointing. The waiters seemed lost and disinterested.... More

I really love it here. Carlota used to be better, I think, but it is still quite good. The wine list is good (only good). The food on the other side is really good. Besides it all, what I like the most is the ambience. It is really charming. I just think it got a little lousy over the time.

Carlota is a cozy restaurant in Sao Paulo where the cuisine is surprisingly good. Share the small dishes, they are wonderful. Every single dish was a wow. We shall return.

My wife and nine year old daughter had the set lunch here. We liked everything about the restaurant. It has a fresh white interior, the menu is great, the staff were excellent, and the food great and the meal was reasonably priced for a fine dining experience.

Excellent fish dishes, great variety of first courses, friendly and attentive service. Cosy atmosphere. Popular amongst locals.
