This is a must to go restaurant. Spetacular view of são Paulo, wonderful decor, amazing food (a little expensive, but don't forget the view ), but it has a disappointing service. From the waiters to the maitreD, it is a disaster . Would I come back? I guess not

You come here for the view of São Paulo and it is stunning. The service is very friendly and professional. The food is ok, nothing really special, but the sticking point are the prices, which are sky high, no doubt to match the location. We paid approx US$230 for dinner for two, main course and dessert only, no wine just... More

If you were visiting the city, it is worth taking the time to go to this amazing building. The views of the city are spectacular. As far as you can see, there are skyscrapers. It is almost as if you can see the curvature of the earth from here. We attended a business meeting there and the food was fantastic.

The place is beautiful, you can actually understand São Paulo from here. The service is perfect (recommend talk to Antonio, Nilson and Willaman - best waiters ever). You can make all your reservation online, it's easy and very handy. I stayed at the Panorama room (they have about 3 rooms, 2 stages) and a Piano Bar if you wish to... More

Fine dining with a stunning view. A great place for special occasions. Came with my family and was totally impressed with the ambiance and the view. One thing that makes my rating 4 is the knowledge of the servers. When asked what was served as a starter, server needs to double check it with other server but overall it was... More

The view is stunning. I've been here when s child and forgot about the experience. The food is ok more on the expense side for Brazil. Ask to be seated on the upper floor by the glass window. 360 degrees view of São Paulo

A bit pricey, but the view is worth it. Service was ok but server seemed disappointed we didn't order more than a salad (we were pressed for time) and we were not served promptly. Food was good and nicely served

Evening with clear sky at the american bar is an experience. Just go, ask for a signature cocktail and enjoy the view. Perfect for small celebrations with your other half.

Amazing view over the city. Cocktails are good and prepared at the spot. A little expensive, but the view makes up for that.

Acknowledged to have the best view of Sao Paulo, this is also an excellent Italian restaurant with superb service. Chef Pasqual is from Italy, and his brasilian wife Elizabeth is the Sous Chef. All of the ingredients, with the exception of the fruits, vegetables, and proteins come from Italy. Last year he cooked for the Pope when he visited Brasil.... More

Staying in Republica

Neighbourhood Profile
Republica
Part of the historical centre of São Paulo, República was once a fancy residential area. República Square holds a craft and food fair every weekend, right by the subway entrance. Nearby, one of the neighbourhood’s main attractions is the Italian Building, where you can see the city from the 42nd floor. The Copan Building also deserves a close look, with 1,160 apartments and a huge floor area that inspired filmmakers and other artists. To get the feeling of São Paulo in the beginning of the 1900s, visit the Municipal Theatre – you will be amazed by its architecture. The area also features several galleries. República is a great area to explore during daytime, but use caution if visiting alone at night.
