If you wish a good food at right price, this is the place. The food is vegetarian ,but even I, a meat man, I do not bother about the lack of meat here. The food is well-seasoned, delicious. Before eating try the cocktail made with honey, lime and ginger.

The place is simple and the menu have two options to choose each day. Selections vary each month. Vegetarian, with Indian cuisine proposal, the food is served with juice, a salad, a main course and desert. The food is very good and generously served. The place is simple and service is friendly. A good option with a different proposal. Good... More

Popped in here at lunch time, disappointed to find out that a la carte is not available at this time. We were presented with an extremely limited set menu and opted for the rogan josh as main. Starter arrived and was small, and lacked flavour. The rogan josh was ok, slightly watery and lacked spice. Also, there was no naan... More

I know the restaurant has been going for years and it has never disappointed me. All the people I took there loved the food (and did not even realize I was a vegetarian). Worth the visit, it is delicious! If you are in doubt which menu of the day to choose, order half of each. So you can eat a... More

First of all, the food didn't taste anything like Indian cuisine. Horrible service, and limited choices. Second, the food was obviously prepared in advance, and had no spices. It's a shame that this restaurant calls itself a Indian restaurant. Worst experience ever!

The restaurant is totally vegetarian, indian style, they offer very few options, so it is easier to pick what you want to eat. The price you pay is for a full meal, with drink - rose juice, and dessert - several options, included. Everything is very tasty and fresh. I recommend coming early because it is always really full, and... More

We finally got to eat here on a hot Saturday. We reached here by 14:00 hrs but had to wait for nearly 45 minutes to get a table. The restaurant closes by 15:00 hrs so expect quite a rush between 13:00 - 14:30 hrs. The 'waiting' part was unbearable specially on a very very hot day. Coming to the food... More

Staying in Consolacao

Neighbourhood Profile
Consolacao
Consolação lies between the old historical centre of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighbourhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.
