Wife and I visited Jim n Nicks in Birmingham for dinner on our way to the Florida panhandle. Were told a 15-20 minute wait but were seated in less than 10 min. We both had the traditional pulled pork and loved it. Waitress was attentive and made sure to stop by by frequently. Both the baked beans and cole slaw... More
Folks, I eat at this joint once or twice a week and have consistently gotten great service, fine food and a smile on my face each time for YEARS now. The main word here is consistent. This place delivers a satisfying experience again and again.
My wife and I visited Jim n Nicks in Charleston a couple of years ago when we were on a multi centre holiday. We loved it that much we ate there for the three nights we were in Charleston! We are on a road triparound louisiana, mississippi, Tennessee and alabama and we got the chance to try jim n nicks... More
We went here upon recommendation of a friend who's from MS. Very happy with our visit here. Upon arrival, it looked packed but the wait was only 25 min. We left pleased with the food and service. We ordered the group family-style feast that fed 6-8 people. We had 6 people but the meal could have fed more. We were... More
This was a take out order. The hot pork links order consisted of only a single link, not two links as plainly advertised on the menu (!!!). The single hot link portion served was cold and did not include seranno peppers as advertised. An order of onion rings was a joke, maybe a total of ten rings. An order of... More
We were on our way to Auburn and stopped at this restaurant for dinner. It was about 7 pm on a Friday night and the parking lot was very busy and very full, in fact we had to park at an adjacent (businesses) parking lot and walk over. We were told there would be a 15-20 min. wait but were... More
Yes, the drive thru line is long and slow. But, you are waiting for food made to order. If 6 cars are in front of you....you are going to wait quite a long time. For me, if I don't want to go in and be served, the drive thru is worth the wait. I love the brisket and the baked... More
Don't use the drive thru unless you are prepared to wait very lengthy times. I went here during a 30 minute lunch break (I was very close by to begin with) and sat in the drive thru line nearly 45 minutes total. After my 30 minute lunch break was up, I hated to just drive off because I would have... More
By far the best buffalo chicken tenders I've ever had. They are huge, and their buffalo sauce covered tenders dipped in ranch will make you slap your mother and grandmother.
