I love to eat at the Mtn Brook location. The Fall Salad with chicken is so yummy. I love it. Wish it wasn't so crowded. It feels so tight jammed in at the small tables.

First visit to this restaurant, what a wonderful surprise. Small menu, but what we had was very good. We enjoyed a very nice freshly tossed salad, a wonderful bowl of Butternut Squash soup, a great Roastbeef Pannini, topped off with the best Pecan bread pudding I've ever had. Highly reccomend for a relaxed, casual night on the town.

I recently found this place while in town with my sister visiting UAB. The food was freshly made with local ingredients. I had the Mayflower sandwich with a salad and highly recommend it.

Loved this place. The decor , brick walls, tin tiles on ceiling add to its charm. We loved our food and the service was good too. We will definitely return.

I love this downtown cafe. Gourmet sandwiches and soups in a very cool old building. The menu changes, but is always fresh and unique.

Freshly made soup from all natural local ingredients. Pair the soup with a sandwich or salad. Great service with staff who really care. They have literally nursed me back to health.

We were just passing through Birmingham earlier this week and needed to get a quick lunch before heading to train station. Brick & Tin is located on a lovely tree-lined street (20th Ave.). We were told that many downtown restaurants aren't open on Mondays but Brick & Tin was. It's obvious where they came up with their name - lovely... More

I don't eat downtown for lunch very often, but have stopped at Brick and Tin for a couple of special occasions. Both times I've had the Brisket sandwich on focaccia bread and it was perfection. The meat was tender and the flavor combinations of the sandwich was perfect. Also the cous cous salad is so refreshing and delicious. Highly recommend... More

First off, I got there 15 minutes before they closed, on a rainy afternoon, and they let me sit and eat without being rushed, which I definitely appreciated. Second, the brisket sandwich with caramelized onions was delicious, and the side of couscous salad may have pushed me over the edge into actually appreciating brussels sprouts - it was really good!...
