Highly reconmended but not disappointed. Excellent food. One thing we do not look forward in touring China is the Chinese food. We had western food at Emma's.

Emma's Kitchen is a nice restaurant to have dinner/lunch and drink a cold beer while in Songpan. Although, the prices are higher than expected and the food is totally western, which can suit you depands what you're looking for

Very friendly staff and English menu, good prices. But even if some of the dishes look like local, including yak meat, it tastes very westerns. It's not bad, of course, but if you're looking for something local, I wouldn't recommend it.

If you want to have a break and eat non-asian food: Emma has it. Even Belgian beers were available. Good atmosphere, but of course with many tourists having the same break!

Comfortable atmosphere, when people aren't smoking inside, and food is fine--good even, when you consider it's the only western place in town.

I have no idea about the food they serve here. We went in just because my friend knew they serve hot chocolate with brandy. I'm fairly certain that not many things taste and feel as great as their hot chocolate when it's cold and rainy outside and you've been hiking the whole day. A really cozy place for spending a... Emma advised us that we could not travel to Langmusi because the town was closed to foreigners. Our only option was a flight to Xian or a bus ride back to Chengdu, according to her. She booked a flight for us, but later that day we spoke to foreigners who had traveled through Langmusi that same day by bus with... More

We ate there two times with for people. First time: Chinese dish and Yakburger were good, apple pie was burned and not eatable because of tooooo much cinnamon. I like cinnamon, but this was really too much. Breakfast: eggs were a bit black on the undersite, but tasted really burned! Roasted patatoes were the best! Pancake was good. Emma is... More

i walked in here because i had just rolled into town and had read about this place in a certain guidebook... it was easy to find, and i wanted some tibetan momos, but emma doesn't make tibetan food and she claimed that there was no tibetan to be had in the town at all and that i'd have to go...
