I don't know why it is so famous. This restaurant is just normal Chinese restaurant which is everywhere!! Only the good point of this restaurant is price. Food is very chip but edible. But except that dirty, unkind staff, low table and so so quality food... don't wait in the line. Just go some other places. Then you may have... More

Great value for money & and amazing tasting food. The place does not look that hot from the outside but it really is a great restaurant. This was the best restaurant we found in Lijiang. Extensive English picture menu makes it easy for non Chinese speakers.

We waited for about 30 minutes to get a table, usually this is a good sign, it might be that we ordered the wrong food but it was the worst meal we have had so far in China. The eggplant tasted like cigarettes (!!) The noodles were OK, a little like packet spaghetti and the stir fried chicken was a... More

Overall the food was pretty oily - I actually thought that it is rated as one of the best (on a Chinese app) in Lijiang because of the domestic tourism where people are accustomed to the taste slightly better. However it was not inedible - but I had better food around old town.

This authentic Chinese restaurant is located at a busy street in old town. Always packed with locals. It is not a fancy place, the staff is a little bit rude, but the food is great! Noodle soup and other dishes start at 10 RMB. And they have an English menu!

Amazing local restaurant. It is a very popular place so you'll need to take a ticket and wait until they call you. They didn't speak English but were very nice and took good care of us. Food was delicious but plates are big, we definitely ordered too much!

The food was delicious, we took this jelly noodles dish for starters and it was really good! The soup is a must try, probably one of the best I've tasted!

Yum, yum and yum! Fantastically full-flavoured food in casual, busy, rowdy atmosphere. Pots clang as they’re washed, diners talk loudly, and heaping helpings of gastronomic goodness is served to tables, constantly. Remains are cleared, wiped quickly clean and it starts again. Tables turn over on what seems like a never-ending procession of those who have come to feast; more like... More
