on the Northern edge of the island, no spectacular views. Sunday lunch, end of October so out of season. Stewed lamb with peas

Perhaps this place is 'very good' rather than excellent, but I think overall score here is rather unfair. This felt an intimate and friendly restaurant with good food.

We were staying at the hotel and the staff seemed very friendly so we decided to eat in their restaurant for our one night stay. Despite having a booking we waited almost 2 hours for our food. When it came, 2 of our four meals were acceptable but nothing exciting, the other two were dreadful. Seafood risotto with most of... More

On the recommendation of the owner of the apartment we rented we visited this restaurant whilst in Trogir. We wanted to try some tradiotional Dalmation food. Both our dishes were great. The service was very good.

Good selection of cold cuts, cheese, jams and various baked goods from the buffet - separately one could order nicely prepared eggs.

We really struggled with the paucity of vegetarian options in the vast majority of restaurants in Trogir..you either get vegetarian/margarita pizza or risotto! We found this restaurant on our last day and it was such a welcome relief. The setting isn't as pretty as the waterfront facing Ciovo or the winding streets of the town, but it does face the... Staff was friendly and helpfull. We had a vegetarian and traditional veal dish. Portions were maybe just not enough. There was some nice live music in the background.

We visited this Restaurant on our holiday last year because it was pretty much the only one offering a decent range of traditional Croatian cuisine. On our last visit the meals were OK and were let down by undercooking meat based meals. I decided to order a mixed grill, big mistake, as the beef steak was done to death and... More

The traditional Croatia meal named Bakalar was really most "alternative" way to prepare the perfect Cod fish. It was strange mixture from smallest pieces of Cod and strange sauce. The smell from it was not also good but the fish was fresh(I hope). The squaw got the small sardines fried in very old used oil. The schnitzel for kids was... More

We struggled to find any vegetarian food in Trogir and this place has quite a few options. We had a fairly decent green risotto and some tasty polenta with tomato sauce. The main selling point was the staff. Both servers were extremely friendly. They even changed our non-vegetarian aperitif immediately when they found out we were veggie.

Description
One of the things you should not miss whilst in Dalmatia is the Dalmatian cuisine. Mediterranean climate and various influences throughout the history created the special flavours of the rich indigenous cuisine. By cherishing the tradition Pasike presents original indigenous cuisine. Thus, in our menu card you may find the unavoidable "Pasticada", but also "Skartocete", "Stara popara", "Brujet", "Bakalar" (codfish), "Trogir soup", "Trogir rafijoli".... And many more lovely things .... Here in Pasike we prepare these and many other dishes daily, following tried and tested old recipes of our grandmothers, with emphasis on quality, artistic experience and love for cooking and our guests.
