Sit on the stools, order a great tasting hand-made coffee and enjoy the view across Parc Bolivar. Enjoy the local Andeans going about their daily business and pass the time of day with locals who stop by for a coffee. Best place to sit and enjoy a coffee and a bagel.

The coffee at the Daily Grind was one of the best cups I've had in Ecuador (Quito and Banos). The place is small and seats just a few at the counter, but felt like you were somewhere in Europe sipping coffee near the square. There was a large menu including sandwiches, bagels and English muffins, which looked good to try.... More

On the corner of the historic plaza of Otavalo within sight of the sculpture of Intirami is this New York style coffee shop with an English name! Coffee is local and excellent. Service is great. Catch up on local gossip here - and get a breather from the busy marketplace. Now that the new market is open, the crowds have... More

Great specialty coffees in an outdoor setting off the main square in the city. Enjoy a view of the park, city hall and the great church while sipping on the drink of your choice. Also has some food items great for a light lunch.

Great location and good family run business with stools in front and tables in back with a great restaurant upstairs. Treated like family whenever we visit. Best location to people watch in all of Otavalo.

This is a small stand overlooking the Parque that only has stools for several people, but is great place to order a coffee drink, and take a break from the Mercado.

On one of the more peaceful squares in Otavalo is this coffee/cappuccino stand frequented by expats and locals alike.

Daily grind is the second best coffeeshop in Otavalo. Why not the first? La Cosecha is simply unbeatable. However, Daily Grind is fantastic as well and its location in the main plaza is truly wonderful. While they are known for their coffee, their Kallari hot chocolate is quite simply the best hot chocolate I've ever had.

The location is just great, next to the parking lot at the corner of the beginning of shopping street. Coffee is okay, nothing special. The homemade cake and cookies are more interesting

Description
This terrific little espresso bar is right in the middle of Otavalo on Parque Bolivar. It serves the best coffee in Ecuador and fresh baked cupcakes and pastries every day. If you're lucky you'll be there when the zucchini nut bread comes out of the oven. It is served warm with whipped cream. The rum cake is like heaven on earth and worth savoring. There is a private garden behind Daily Grind where you can sit at tables and enjoy the flowers.
