This place is situated in the heart of panjim city and opposite to panjim church. Small place but good goan food. you must try their goan fish thali and rachado mackerel.

We've visited the George a number of times over the last couple of years and its always a pleasure to make a trip It's on the square in front of Panjim's main church so a great place to people watch while enjoying a cold beer. The place is always busy so turnover is good and the food is always fresh.... More

For a refreshing beer and some great beef and pork treats, do visit the restaurant. It is right near the Panjim Church and great to grab a quick lunch.

These guys close sharp at 10.30 pm and we literally had to barge in. Empty though ,we were clearly told to place the order in one go ,as they would not serve anymore, being the last order. Food is typically goan and service is extremely fast. The king fish curry ,is one i would rate high. Everything we ordered was... More

I would call it a heritage joint which has not just sustained itself since Portuguese times but also maintained its reputation. A nice rustic place located diagonally opposite the Mary Immaculate Church, in the very heart of Panjim city, George serves some gastronomically classic, authentic, Goan cuisines. The seafood here is good and so is their beef biryani. Verdict: Must... More

The location of this restaurant is fantastic- it is right in front of the Church of Immaculate Conception in the Church Square. It is famous for sea food though we had eaten Chinese there. The place is simply decorated but the food is just amazing- tasty, delicious and quite reasonable. Would recommend it to everyone visiting Panjim.
