This is the most exiting place in Amritsar. They provide food for 80-90.000 people every day. They do this due to donations, so please donate - you can do this at a corner in the Temple. Everybody working there is volunteers. An amazing experience.

At Golden temple, Guru ka Langar is non stop 24×7. Any time during the day, you may visit, Langar is available. Urad dal is a regular feature and is most delicious, as the same is prepared in handi and not cookers. The salad mixed with pickle is a peculiar feature of the Langar, which adds flavor to the tasty food... More

A highly efficient manner in which food is served free to all visitors. The food served at all times is extremely tasty and served by volunteers who perform their function with live and sincerity. We visited on 06 Jan with our friends and they were impressed with the clock work precision with which the entire system was operating without much... More

This is a gratis meal and so, should not be compared with restaurant service. It is amazing how fast these guys move the crowd. The surroundings are clean. Considering that it is all volunteer-driven, this is better than excellent. You get a tasty and filling meal. You do not have a choice of dishes but everything we received was great.

At a time thousands of people are having langar still this place is so calm and quite. Langar is plane and simple but still so tasty. It gives Chapatti, Dal, One Sabji , Pulao and Rice kheer. All are... More
