Great place to visit early in the morning, mid day or at night. I visited with friends for an early bfast as we decided to try out the aloo Puri. It was really good and we topped it up with Jalebi and a massive glass of lassi, which was not as good as Ahuja Lassi but decent enough to enjoy... More

Its a sweet shop but they serve poori sabzi for breakfast. We went early morning for breakfast n had poori aloo n lassi for breakfast. It was freshly prepared n very tasty. Tried gur ka halwa n rasmalai too. All in all a satisfactory meal.

Located right in the heart of the commercial Lawrence Road...this place is very famous for poori Chana Halwa and lassi...you will find a great rush in the mornings during breakfast time as that is when Amritsaris eat poori. The sweet shop has all Punjabi mithais which is a treat for all having a sweet tooth.

Amritsar is as famous for its food as it is for the Golden Temple. So it wasn't a total surprise when we took our first bite of the chole puri and aloo ki sabzi. Simple but oh so delicious! I was blown away! Have you ever eaten a sweet and sour (tangy) aloo sabzi, chole puri with a tall glass... More

Its a road side shop and not a restaurant. The do have an excellent lassi with a lot of malai. We also tried their gulab jam which were out of the world. Their namkeens too were superb and we did pack up a few. Nice place to have dessert after a meal in any restaurant thanks and regds Milma

I had been eating the much sought after Poori-Cholle at this place for years. They served the delicious pooris with cholle and aaloo ki sabzi along with some tasty carrot pickle but during last couple of years they stopped serving the pickle and the quality of the said item also became poor. There is a noticeable difference in the taste... More
